Campus-Area Networks (CANs) which are computers located within a limited geographic area, such as a campus or military base; Metropolitan-Area Networks MANs) which are data networks designed for a town or city, and Home-Area Networks (HANs) which are networks contained within a user's home that connects a person's digital devices.
